Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) º£½Ç»»ÆÞ County Council (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Habberley Road, St Johns Avenue and Briars Gardens, Kidderminster]

On 5 June 2025 º£½Ç»»ÆÞ County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:

Habberley Road (south side): from its junction with St Johns Avenue for a distance 11 metres in a north westerly direction and 12 metres in an easterly direction. 

Habberley Road (North side): from its junction with Briars Gardens (private road) for a distance 9 metres in a north westerly direction and 7 metres in an easterly direction.

Briars Gardens (private road) (both side): from its junction with Habberley Road for a distance of 7 metres in a southerly direction.  

St Johns Avenue (west side): from its junction with Habberley Road for a distance 17 metres in a southerly direction. 

St Johns Avenue (east side): from its junction with Habberley Road for a distance 14 metres in a southerly direction. 

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 26 June 2025.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
