Business leaders discover how to ‘work well and live better’ at Business Expo

º£½Ç»»ÆÞ County Council’s Public Health team is sponsoring the Health & Wellbeing Zone at this year’s Chamber Business Expo.

The interactive zone will highlight the importance of workplace health and wellbeing, with stands offering free activities, services, and information.

Visitors can explore resources to support healthier workplaces, from employee wellbeing initiatives to smoking cessation support.

The Public Health team will be showcasing Work Well Live Better. This is º£½Ç»»ÆÞ’s free programme to help businesses improve the health and wellbeing of their employees.

Work Well Live Better offers a range of benefits, including a monthly newsletter, twice-yearly showcase events, quarterly breakfast networking sessions, and monthly virtual lunchtime bitesize sessions. Recent topics have covered important workplace issues such as menopause awareness and understanding neurodiversity.

Businesses who sign up to Work Well Live Better can also access targeted support ranging from training, mentoring or support in writing policies and action plans. Find out more at

Businesses can also get information on how to support their employees to stop smoking with º£½Ç»»ÆÞ’s free stop smoking services. Visitors can learn about free support to quit smoking on our stop smoking pages or by calling 0800 772 0307 or 01905 928 185.

In addition, businesses will have the opportunity to sponsor the popular Wythall and Hollywood Fun Run in 2026.

Business leaders can also speak with a member of º£½Ç»»ÆÞ County Council’s business grants team to learn more about support available. This includes free pre-start advice and business coaching, as well as match-funded grants for innovation and growth aimed at more established businesses.
