This Easter, while you’re enjoying your chocolate treats, don’t let good recycling habits hop away!
º£½Ç»»ÆÞ County Council is encouraging residents to recycle their Easter egg packaging by placing cardboard boxes into their recycling collections and saving aluminium foil for drop-off at their nearest Household Recycling Centre.
To recycle foil correctly, please ensure it’s clean, scrunch it into a ball, and take it along on your next visit - and remember, foil should not go into your green recycling bin.
By taking a few simple steps, we can all help make this Easter a shining example of sustainability and give valuable materials a second chance at life.
For more information on how to recycle right, visit the Let's Waste Less pages of the º£½Ç»»ÆÞ County Council website.
